5 Top Tips to Reduce Environmental Hormone Disrupting Chemicals!

Writer's picture: Healing TreeHealing Tree

Environmental hormones are artificial compounds found in the environment that can have negative effects on our health and reproductive functions. To minimise the impact of these environmental hormones, the following practices can be implemented:

  • 1.Reduce plastic usage: Plastic products may contain harmful compounds, including environmental hormones. Minimise the use of single-use plastics and opt for reusable glass or stainless steel containers instead.

  • 2.Consume organic foods: Organic foods are grown without the use of environmental hormones, reducing exposure to them. Choose organic foods whenever possible.

  • 3.Avoid chemical products: Some cosmetics, cleaning products, and personal hygiene items may contain harmful chemicals, including environmental hormones. Look for natural and chemical-free products.

  • 4.Drink filtered water: Tap water may contain substances such as environmental hormones. Drinking filtered water is one way to reduce exposure to them.

  • 5. Be cautious with food choices: Processed foods and genetically modified foods may contain environmental hormones, so choose fresh and natural foods whenever possible.

In addition, regular exercise helps maintain hormone balance and promotes metabolism, reducing the impact of environmental hormones. Participating in community environmental protection activities aimed at reducing the emission of environmental hormones and other harmful substances is also important. Just as each part of our body is interconnected to create a healthy body, when each member of our society strives to create a healthy environment, we can create a healthier and more sustainable environment.
